A standard (skin or SMAS-plication) face lift tightens the surface and folds the muscle layer. A deep plane lift goes beneath the SMAS, releases the retaining ligaments that cause jowls and deep folds, and moves the whole unit back into its youthful position. The skin is not stretched, so the result looks natural and lasts considerably longer.
You send a few photos through the form or WhatsApp, and Dr. Çınar meets you on a private video call. Istanbul is 7 hours behind Sydney and Melbourne (8 hours during Australian daylight saving), so calls are usually booked for your afternoon or evening. The consultation is free and there is no obligation.
It depends on the procedure and on how you heal. Dr. Çınar checks you through your stay and only clears you for the long flight home when he is satisfied. Your own plan gives you the length of stay for your case before you book flights, and many patients add a couple of extra nights for peace of mind.
Yes, many patients do. Transfers, accommodation and every appointment are coordinated for you, and Dr. Çınar's team is on WhatsApp throughout your stay.
It depends on what your face needs. Your consultation tells you what is planned for you and how long it will take.
Long flights after surgery need planning, which is why you do not fly until Dr. Çınar has cleared you. You will get specific instructions for the journey: moving regularly, staying hydrated and any compression or medication your plan requires.
Your follow-up continues remotely over video and WhatsApp for as long as you need it. We also recommend letting your local GP know about your surgery so they can see you in person if anything needs attention.
Because the deep structures are repositioned rather than just the skin, results are designed to last 10–15 years. Your face will continue to age naturally from its new starting point, and individual results vary.
The first day after anaesthesia is usually the hardest, and feeling sick that day is common. After that, most of what you see on camera is swelling and tape. One patient put it to a nervous follower like this: “I promise it looks way more hectic than it feels.”
Incisions are planned to sit in natural creases around the ear and hairline, where they are very hard to see once healed. Dr. Çınar shows you exactly where they will be during your consultation.
